RESTORE HOPE ON RELEASE OF PROTESTERS (PRIORITY)

Founder of the Restore Hope for the Boy Child Initiative, Dr. Babatunde Kayode has commended President Bola Tinubu for giving listening ears to public outcry and releasing about 76 detained Minors arrested during the August 2024 End Bad Governance protest.

Founder of the Restore Hope for the Boy Child initiative, a Non-Governmental Organisation, Dr. Babatunde Kayode expresses his deep appreciation for President Tinubu’s compassion, describing it as a magnanimous gesture towards the future of the country.

Heading an NGO saddled with the responsibilities of protecting Rights and Empowering the Boy Child, DR KAYODE notes that the President demonstrated remarkable empathy and commitment to justice.

He appeals for proper reintegration of the minors into the society through enrollment in schools, providing them with opportunities to rebuild their lives through skill acquisitions and entrepreneurship

It would be recalled that a total of 119 teenagers were detained in relation to the protests that caused significant financial losses to the country.

So far, some children have been handed over to the families while others to their political leaders.

Restore Hope Initiative for the Boy Child has reassured of its continuous advocacy for justice for the boy child.
